What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in the software development industry
• At least 5 years of prior experience in a senior technology leadership role managing multiple software development teams
• Experience in designing, architecting, and maintaining high-traffic, multisite software systems, preferably in the e-commerce or similar industry
• Previous experience in product management would be advantageous, as the role involves close collaboration with business teams.
• Knowledge of best practices in mission-critical IT systems and operations
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in high-level reporting, planning, time management, and coordination
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and their business applications
• Track record of developing and implementing technology strategies that drive business growth
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Proficiency in agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure management
• Self-starting, well-organized, and capable of delivering results on schedule
• Residency in Ankara

As the Senior Manager of Software Development and lead of our Ankara engineering team, you will oversee both backend and mobile software engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions
• Providing support and guidance to ensure efficient project execution
• Mentoring a diverse team of software engineers and team leaders to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
• Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their applicability to our business and technical goals
• Collaborating with software and infrastructure teams based in the main office to ensure alignment with system design and standards
• Overseeing technical infrastructure and coordinating disaster recovery measures
• Will be responsible for executing/implementing contingency plans for continuous service operation of sahibinden.com in coordinance with Istanbul management team
• Planning educational and development activities for the team, while maintaining a positive team culture
